Re-Energize

The original space featured Milford granite juxtaposed with Creme Brulee marble, giving it a dated look that lacked nuance. By toning back the granite, we were able to bring out the subtle brown and gold tones of the marble.
The property is very near to Lake Merritt and Snow Park, so by using a light color palette and adding a fountain we were able to attain a park-like calmness in the space. The large windows, flowing lines of the ceiling and soft babbling of the fountain transform the space from a pass through to the upper tower into a place to spend time, and even hold meetings with building guests.
